Experiences

Serving as DECA Chapter President has given me the confidence, leadership skills, and professionalism to guide a team while growing as an individual. Attending the Leadership Conference in Florida expanded my network and exposed me to new ideas in business, competition, and career development. Qualifying for the state conference for two consecutive years pushed me to refine my presentation, problem solving, and communication skills, showing me the value of consistency and hard work. One of the accomplishments I'm most proud of was creating "Dyslexia for a Day" simulation, which helped raise awareness and empathy within our school by allowing students and teachers to experience not just the academic struggles but also the emotional challenges faced by individuals with dyslexia. Altogether, DECA has shaped me into a more thoughtful leader, an effective communicator, and someone committed to making a meaningful impact.
